Friday Rap Up - Oversleep
I overslept and missed a make-up class on Wednesday.
That pretty much sums up my week.

Friday Rap Up - 10 year class reunion
My high school class used to be so tight.
We won EVERY class competition from our 10th grade year on.
We were the best, in everything.
10 years later....yeah, uhm, not so much.

Friday Rap Up - Mystery Man
I got some Valentine's Day gifts y'all.
It was a surprise to me. I was expecting yet another non-eventful V-day. But alas, I got some presents! Yay!
I really have to update everyone on my life because some things have changed. I haven't been focused on writing really (or school for that matter) and that's so unlike me. But with good reason. I'll fill you in later, hopefully.

My first Democratic primary...
I don't know how it's my first experience since I voted in 2000 and 2004 for the general elections (I must've somehow missed the primary part). But the election this time around is so exciting. Everybody is talking about it; it's right up there with Britney Spears (and that's a big step for politics). My voting experience went well. I went around 2:30pm and there was no line. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. I even cracked a small smile when I placed my vote. I felt proud because I was doing my part in what's bound to be a history making election.
Who did I vote for....

Friday Rap Up - Who U Rootin For?
Aaaaahhhh, the Superbowl. Big, strong, strappin' guys bending over, a lot. What more could a girl ask for? I love football. I think my fondness for the sport started in high school when we cheerleaders actually had to know a thing or two about it in order to call the right cheer.
Who doesn't enjoy the Superbowl? I mean, it's a party, it's snack food, it's funny commercials, and hopefully a good game. I just want to know, who are YOU rooting for?

Friday Rap Up - 4 pounds
I resolved to lose weight this year (again), but actually do it this time. In order to get 'er done, I've been doing Slim in 6. You have to do one of the videos 6 times per week. I've also been watching what I'm putting in my mouth. I wouldn't say I'm dieting necessarily, but I'm making much better choices. I started the program on Jan. 1st, and my workout coach (from the Beachbody message boards) advised me to only weigh in twice a month. I weighed in on the 15th, and in 14 days, I've already lost 4 pounds and 7 inches (2 whole inches in my waist alone). I know it's going to be a long, hard road. But this time, I think I've actually prepared myself for the trip.

Friday Rap Up - I don't feel good.
So, I'm sick. Not like a cold sick. Not like sniffles and cough sick. It's more like nausea and a major depletion of energy sick. I'm surprised I even got through this rap up. It was really hard.

Friday Rap Up - Get Tested
Okay y'all sorry about that.
I was entirely beat yesterday.
Anyway, everybody knows I went to Planned Parenthood a couple of weeks ago. Well, I got my HIV test results back: NEGATIVO! Thank you very much! I am not a statistic.
But I got to thinking if I could've been. I'm always safe, but there are times when you're with people you trust that you could be like, 'don't worry about it,' and your whole life could change in that one instant. I told you before that while I was in Planned Parenthood, I saw a young couple who were there to be tested together. I thought the young lady was very smart for doing that (okay, it could've been the dude's idea, but I doubt it). And I think the next man I'm with is going to have to show and prove. I'll go with him and get tested again if he wants me too, but I gotta see some paperwork.

Friday Rap Up - What do you resolve?
I'm still here in Mississippi visiting with the MooMoo and the doggies. It took me a little while longer to to my rap up today I guess because I'm in Mississippi mode, but it's here and it's still Friday.
I'm really excited about 2008 y'all. A lot of things are changing for me this year and I'm anxious to go ahead and get them started. I'm going to post my resolutions as an entire post a little closer to New Years Day, but this Rap Up is asking all of you what kind of resolutions you're making for the new year.
Hopefully this year we'll all be able to keep them.

Friday Rap Up - DWB
Wow! I can't believe one Friday Rap Up is stacked on top of another one on my blog; that means I didn't blog all freakin week. Well, I plan to catch you all up on my life when I have time to take a breather. It hasn't been that involved, just busy that's all; I don't want to build you up to let you down.
Anyway, this week's video is about something that happened last weekend.
Enjoy!

Friday Rap Up - Why I Youtube
Happy Friday y'all!
You all know that you're my blog family, right? But what you probably don't know is that I also have a YouTube family. I have about 80 people who subscribe to receive my video every Friday. Last Friday one of my subscribers named Andsanp sent me a message asking me to record a response to a video he'd done asking people why they YouTube. I guess it's almost like I was video tagged. Maybe. A little.
So anyway, here's my response.
Enjoy!
**OH! And I've added a little intro to my Friday Rap Ups. It's a little After Effects project I worked on this quarter. Hope you likes.**

Friday Rap Up - Apple Z
Requested by Chrissy.
What if we could Apple Z (undo) stuff in everyday life. Like, remember that time you peed in the bed? Well, what if when you woke up you could push Apple Z on your life and have that part undo itself. It'd be good.
Ready, go!

Friday Rap Up - I don't know how to freestyle.
I know it's been like forever since I've blogged. It's that time again my peoples. Studio Week. For all of my new readers, studio week is a week at school that we're given to complete all of the assignments we've been working on all quarter. Then we present them to a critique panel and either get good reviews, torn apart, or a little of both. So around this time I end up blogging less, but I'll try to keep up this quarter.
This Friday Rap Up is totally random much like everything else I do.
I killz 'em with the freestyle! teehee.

Friday Rap Up - Gotta get my tag renewed
In Georgia, every year on your birthday your tag on your car expires. We all know my birthday was last week, soooooo, I'm riding illegally. I'm no stranger to the illegal ride, though. I rode around with an expired North Carolina tag for 3 years before I went ahead and got a Georgia one. But I almost feel compelled to stay current since I'm riding around in the state that issued it.
If I didn't have to go and get that freakin' emissions test it would be a whole lot easier. Geez.

Friday Rap Up - Put yo summer clothes away
Listen, girls, I know. I know it's hard for you to get used to covering up your bodies again. I mean, it's been months of sweltering heat and wearing as little as possible was actually necessary (hmph). But now you must bid farewell to your sweet exposed arms, legs, and toes and say hello to boots, sweaters, and coats. It's cover up time people, so do it. Or risk getting talked about.

Friday Rap Up - I'ma stop looking...
I've decided to just stop looking. You know how they say once you stop looking for something, whatever you were looking for will find you. So that, my friends, is what I'm going to do. I still would like to go different places around Atlanta though, get out of the house and do things, but I think I'm gonna start just focusing on me.
I've made a schedule for my everyday life that if I can follow, should get me to where I want to be educationally, physically, and domestically. I've scheduled myself to work out 4 times a week, time to go to the grocery store, and I've even scheduled a night to go out and do something fun. My birthday is quickly approaching and I don't want my life to be focused on having a man, I want to be focused on being the best me I can be. I'm numero uno to me, I need to start acting like it.
Soooo here's my rhyme.
Enjoy!
